Hi, I’m Mel,

I am a qualified pluralistic therapist registered with both COSCA Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland and BACP British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy dedicated to helping you find the right path for your personal growth and healing. I believe that everyone’s journey is unique, and therapy should reflect that. By drawing from different approaches, I work with you to create a space that feels safe, open, and tailored to your needs.

My background includes working as a listener in NHS settings and as a counsellor in charity services, supporting people from all walks of life. I know how important it is to feel heard, and I’m here to walk alongside you – wherever you are on your journey.

I understand how challenging it can be to find the time, space, and resources to prioritise your mental health. To make this easier, I offer both online sessions and in-person appointments in Rubislaw Den North, Aberdeen. My standard rate is £50 per hour, but I understand that finances can sometimes be a barrier. If you're experiencing financial hardship, I may be able to offer a sliding scale – please feel free to ask.

Whether you’re navigating trauma, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck, I offer a warm, down-to-earth space where we can explore things together, at your pace. This is your therapy, your way.
